Kastle – Kastle

Kastle’s self titled, 15 track album dropped today on iTunes and Beatport. Coming off his own record label, Symbols, this man has been hard at work and it is already paying off for him as his album is charting at 8th on iTunes electronic top albums on the first day of release. The record covers a lot of ground, having songs that range from house to slowing it down to a hi-hat ridden slow jams to a full on rap track. I’m pretty impressed with his progressive style, after hearing him in SF a couple of years back at a dubstep show, he sure has moved away from the dubstep scene. A couple of tracks sound very similar to the style of the british duo, Disclosure, and I, personally couldn’t be happier about that sounds growing more and more. I encourage you to check out the entire album yourself and buy it on iTunes or Beatport if you enjoy what you hear. To give you some full previews I have attached two songs off the album. Enjoy!

Fred V & Grafix – Goggles EP

Fred V & Grafix with their new EP Goggles on Hospital Records is fantastic! Drum & Bass is one of those genre that really does not get the recognition that it deserves, especially in the US. The song Games People Play was one track that stuck out to me specifically. Liquid Drum and Bass with the rocking electric guitar solos is all you can ask for when it comes it instrumental electronic music. It is currently one of my favorites. It is great to see this newer British duo impress us all with their young talent on a such a big record label. The generation that is upon us now is what will keep older music genres alive. It was quite a wise decision for Hospital Records to sign these two producers back in 2011. Click the play button and see for yourself. Continue Reading

Modulation – The Shire

There are a couple of artists out there that I have been waiting awhile to hear something new, today I wait no longer for one of them. Modulation, hailing from Israel, has had my eye for sometime now. His next single will be named the Shire and will be released on Big Fish Records. The synth in the lead is awesome and right away grabs your attention and brings you in, but what really sold me and what usually does sell me is the drop. He puts down a strong drop with a few glitchy sounds, some horns, and continues that lead synth I was telling you about. The song really reminds me of Madeon or theFatRat, What do you think?
